The Swedish Fashion Council co-ordinates trade fairs, shows and events in connection to Stockholm Fashion Week. February and August are the major fashion weeks. May and November are focusing on retailer’s collections and interior design, mainly for Swedish Press.
Stockholm Fashion Week is not a venue where the designers/brand labels can showcase their collections. It’s up to each one of the participants to decide themselves how and where they want to show, i.e. at one of the trade shows, in a show room or in a sales office. Stockholm Fashion Week collects information, co-ordinates and presents the various events in the Stockholm Fashion Week Schedule.
February and August are the major fashion weeks for ready-to-wear collections .
May and November are focusing on retailers collections and interior design, mainly for Swedish journalists.

Stockholm Fashion Week is a trade show attended by Press, Buyers and key opinion formers both International and Swedish.
Stockholm Fashion Week is co-ordinated by the Swedish Fashion Council
The events during SFW are arranged by the participators themselves.
The Swedish Fashion Council (SFC) is a collaborative forum for the Swedish Fashion and Textile Markets.
One of the most important tasks is to analyze and supply information about changes in fashion and interpret these changes for the Swedish and Nordic market. SFC are holding lectures, seminars and are also co-operating with several different companies, design schools and museums.

Stockholm Fashion Week is a trade only event.
If you are a member of the industry, you need to register at the various venues.
SFW has no accreditation facility for the fashion weeks.
Invitations for the Catwalk Shows are distributed at the discretion of each designer. Please contact the designers' and the exhibitions' Press contact which can be found in the Stockholm Fashion Week progam.
You need to apply directly to the various trade fair organisers.
It’s up to each participant to realize their own event, such as showcase your collection at one of the various fairs, catwalks, Press Shows or exhibitions.
