To mark the opening of the Stockholm Fashion Week, Monday August 16th, Ida Pyk recieved the award "Rookie of the Year, 2010" by county governor Per Unckel and jury representative Margareta von den Bosch. We also want to congratulate this year's Guldknappen winner Hope with Ann Ringstrand and Stefan Söderberg whom was awarded during a beautiful cermony and show in the new Fotografiska in Stockholm Thursday night. Monday the 16th of August is the first day of the Stockolm Fashion Week! This year's week begin with a press conference where "the Rookies of the Year, 2010" will be presented. The very same evening will "the Stockholm Fashion Week Official Party" be held in cooperation with the main sponsor KIA, directed by Micael Bindefeld AB. Stockholm Fashion Week 16th-22nd of August will present news for the spring summer collections of 2011 and will gather arragements around in the capital with fashion shows, fairs, showrooms and exhibitions. Mostly for professionals, but some are also public!

The weekend 15-16 augusti with SFW Two days remains of the Stockholm Fashion Week. The weekend is offering trade shows for proffessionals but also some public events.

Stockholm Fashion Week – News for S/S 2010 – Monday August 10 we launch into Stockholm Fashion Week! The week starts off with "The Official SFW S / S 2010 Party presented by KIA" directed by Micael Bindefeld AB and ends with Danish fashion "Behind Fashion" showing some of the bigger danish designers in three shows totally. Stockholm Fashion Week 10-16 August is the main purchase week focusing on season news for spring / summer 2010. Totally four fairs with almost 550 exhibitors presents around 1 300 brands. 10 000-15 000 buyers and other professionals are expected to visit the week.

Moderådet i samarbete med Bindefeld AB för Stockholm Fashion Week i augusti

I början av november hölls den hittills största samnordiska modesatsningen, Nordic Look, i samarbete med Riga Fashion Week. Under två fantastiska dagar presenterades 32 utvalda designer från Norden i en rad modevisningar. Svenska Moderådet ansvarade för urval, sammansättning och projektledning för modevisningarna. Måndag 11 augusti tar Sveriges huvudstad över stafettpinnen och modeyran efter Köpenhamns modevecka. Stockholm Fashion Week bjuder på en hel vecka fullmatad med aktiviteter över hela stan: modevisningar, showroom, utställningar och mässor med fokus på vår/sommar 2009. Välkommen till en modevecka som samlar sex modemässor och närmare 800 varumärken!

Det är snart dags för Stockholm Fashion Week 11-17 augusti. En hel modevecka fullmatad med mässaktiviteter, showrooms, modevisningar, utställningar och andra events runt om på stan. Veckan är inriktad på branschaktiviteter med nyheter för vår/sommar 2009 men en del hel är också öppet för allmänheten.
